CULTURAL EXCHANGE - Youth Action at FSJ

Culture needs dialogue and dialogue needs culture. Countries, regions, peoples and communities are becoming more and more intertwined and interdependent. We can no longer cut ourselves off. Cultural exchange contributes to mutual understanding between societies and peoples. Understanding other cultures can prevent prejudice and hate. Cultural exchange also enriches our own lives by inspiring new forms of artistic expression and providing fresh insights that broaden our horizons. Cultural exchange and activities can exercise a more powerful influence than military task forces or political delegations.

The Youth Social Forum is a result of our efforts to guarantee a future of peace, justice and sustainability. It is going to be held in Bento Gonçalves- Brazil from July 13th-16th and your participation is very important. This internacional Forum is expects sharing tools, resources and cultural diversity. We are requesting your financial support for this positive youth action. This is a positive action that started with the participation and collaboration of youth in global decision-making at the World Social Forum in Brazil since 2001. We recognize that several programs facing critical issues has been developed and that this demands our attention and action. Let us know that your organization wants to participate. Nadia Thalji
