Sintese Cultural

Avadhuta acredita que organizar eventos sociais que priorizam a coletividade com regularidade pode ser uma forma de implementar uma sintese cultural onde todas as culturas tem um espaco para se expressarem. Ruas tomadas pela vivacidade da musica, danca, teatro, caminhadas...para todos vivenciarem a experiencia de integracao. Vamos projetar os grandes ideias de todas as culturas para que todos possam conhecer a diversidade, o multiculturalismo. vamos celebrar a Humanidade e sua Universalidade.

Let us take the necessary steps to implement cultural synthesis by organizing a collective social function regularly, where all cultures have a venue for their expression. Let the streets become alive with cultural songs, dances, dramas, parades and food stalls for all to see and enjoy. Let us project the great ideals of all cultures for all to see. Forests have been called the skin of the Earth. One way or another we have been skinning the Earth alive and in doing so we have removed the homes of untold billions of our fellow beings. At the same time, a large proportion of humanity have been deprived of the necessary conditions for a dignified life.

The Cultural activities are being built with volunteers and our main goal is to engage youth and the community into Cultural integration and multiculturalism.

Working Process:
"A painter engages with the landscape. A musician engages with the melody. An actor engages with the character. Engaging means choosing to involve oneself in or commit oneself to something. Engagement occurs when we experience a deep sense of caring about the work, a sense that what we are doing is worthwhile in and of itself".
"All work creates something: Artfulness demands that we engage with the process of the work and with its product. The meaning of the work resides in the meaning of what we create".
"All work can be artful, but the artfulness lies in our approach to the work and not in the work itself".

Movement is a form of community activism

Movement is no longer mere expression. It's a form of community activism that is beginning to influence how we organize ourselves. Those who know how to incorporate body wisdom into group dynamics are taking the lead as we gradually move from old models of cog-in-the-wheel actions to an era focused on the development and exchange of knowledge - a knowledge society. Michael Wimmer, Director of EDUCULT, Institute for the Mediation of Arts and Sciences in Vienna, shares that "The 'knowledge society' requires competencies such as quick perceptivity, planning competencies, convincing presentation and negotiation skills, and the social and emotional know-how to behave adequately in a multi-cultural environment." Sounds like InterPlay's skill set to me.

I am thrilled that InterPlay is part of this grand evolution. InterPlayers are beginning to understand the best ways for body wisdom to guide us to our highest good. If joy were the only outcome it would be worth it. But when I check out the growing world of InterPlay online, I know something much bigger is at work. If you check InterPlay's website, you'll see that this movement is widespread, and there are some wonderful tales being told,

Mass movements need to be smart. That's why we're testing an InterPlay community development toolkit workshop at InterPlayce this week. Wheeeeeeee. I'll keep you posted.

O Fórum Social da Juventude é um espaço que tem por objetivo resgatar as reflexões e experiências compartilhadas no Acampamento da Juventude do FSM (Fórum Social Mundial).

Através dos participantes em painéis que tratam da diversidade cultural, meio ambiente e educacao este evento social comunitário, busca ações de transformação social construídas coletivamente.

O Fórum Social da Juventude tem como objetivo mobilizar os estudantes, jovens, movimentos sociais, acadêmicos, movimentos sindicais e ONGs do Brasil e países do Mercosul, para integrar as pessoas participantes, permitir que possam voltar a sonhar e construir “Um Outro Mundo Possível”.

Nesta 3a edição o FSJ tem parceria com o Evento "Mutirão da Comunicação - America Latina e Caribe". Os gauchos na cidade de Porto Alegre/RS são contemplados as ediçoes anteriores foram em Florianopolis/SC.
